About The Northern Home & Lifestyle Association
The main goal of the Nothern Home and Lifestyle Association in Plattsburgh New York is to provide all members with as many opportunities as possible to expand their business contacts and provide services that promote professional training and development. It is comprised of members which range from building and specialty contractors to suppliers and other related services such as banks and government agencies.

Blue Collar Connection Project
The NHLA has partnered with CV-TEC to provide a work based learning experience for students enrolled in various CTE (Career & Technical Education) Programs. The NHLA offers members a unique opportunity to have students learn about your business by shadowing in the field or in your office. All CV-TEC CTE Programs are open to this opportunity. Whether you are in construction, banking, marketing, diesel engine repair, auto detailing or electrical there is a program available to match you with your next perspective employee. NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY
The social/cocktail hour before each meeting is an ideal forum to attain possible business contacts with other builders, specialty trade contractors, suppliers and other related businesses. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
The NHLA is actively involved in projects throughout the Adirondacks and the greater Plattsburgh, NY region. Your membership with the NHLA helps us to continue these great things, even if you cannot help out yourself, although we do encourage members to volunteer as much as they can.
